The mother of Fela Anikulapo Kuti the legendry afro beat king ,Dr Beko Ransome Kuti , former health minister professor Olikoye Ransome Kuti ,the lioness of of Lisabi has fondly called is known for her woman empowering abilities she is the first Nigerian woman to ride a car ,she was born in 1900 and died 1978 from injuries she sustained after she was thrown down from storey by unknown soldier who demolished Fela Anikulapo kuti kalakuta republic, she was the only woman delegate who attended the NCNC tour of England in 1947 in protest of the Richard constitution she led the Abeokuta women union which in 1949 piled pressure that led the then Alake of Egbaland to abdicate his throne ..
